So I got a friend request on Facebook from a stranger, however he knows a few of my friends so I thought whatever, might as well. Another friend messages me and tells me to check out this guys profile and I was like that's so weird he just added me as a friend. Oh wait no it's not, she confessed to me that she found him somewhere in cyberspace, figured we had a lot in common and suggested he add me as a friend. It was pure coincidence that we knew two people. She's trying to play matchmaker apparently.........it did make me giggle though!

The Chakra class was interesting and as with most of these things I came out both more knowledgeable as well as more confused than ever! We had a few breaks here and there but otherwise it was 6 hours of information. The first thing I learned was that I was pronouncing the word incorrectly! Oops! I always thought it was "shockra" but really it's "chalkra". Who knew?

He went over each one in depth, guided us through some meditations and answered all of our questions. I'd like to get some books and read up more as we barely scratched the surface due to time restraints.

I spent Earth Hour reading by candlelight as was my plan. I'm like 3 pages away from finishing a book that I started 2 years ago.......yay!!! In my defence it was a heavy topic so I did not pick it up too often.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

That sounds really cool. There is a place here where I get massage supplies that does a chakra reading (I think I posted about it a long time ago) and you can see each one lit up to different degrees. They also have a chakra stone kit at Borders that is very cool where you can wear one for whichever chakra you feel is out...ok I'm done now. lol

That's cute that your friend is trying to play matchmaker. In university, a friend of mine did something very similar; she "introduced" me to some internet friend of hers that she thought I had a lot in common with. I spent a lot of my summer MSNing from work, and then when I met him, he was totally awkward and beyond dorky and that was that. Soooo, anyway, hope it works out better for you, ha-ha.

Jlee, that kit sounds intersting, I'm going to look for it the next time that I'm there.

Christielli, oh jeez! I won't waste my time msning him then just in case LOL!

Rawbean, awwww leave facebook alone and yes yes he is!

Wiwille, ha! No no, but we did chat on msn...oh no I'm doing what I told Christielli I wouldn't!

Lot to catch up on here: First, I saw 'Alice' right before my trip in 3-D and liked it more than I thought I would. Pretty cool stuff. Dug the cat too. And nice work on finishing a book 2 years in the making. That should feel good even if the topic is heavy. Finally, another post dedicated to this Facebook matchmaking ploy seems in order . . .

2DP, glad you liked Alice as I really enjoyed it, as for future facebook shenanigan posts....don't hold your breath ha!
