So we had our first snowstorm of the year which made me a very unhappy kitty. I have been stuck inside all day (other than the 4 times I was out shovelling) as my street of course has not been plowed and it is rather dangerous out there. I did witness three cars attempt to get down my street only to get terribly stuck. I have great snow tires but was not about to test them today. Instead I sat down with a new book and enjoyed lounging around in my jammies all day long. It's almost 1AM now and I just took a shower! Believe me, I know how to lounge :)
And of course a short video for your viewing pleasure. I just want all of the people in the warmer climates to see what they are missing Ha!! Notice the lights in the distance....yet another trapped car. For once I would like it to continue throughout the evening to insure a snow day tomorrow! Fingers crossed :)

Ugh. Snow. I saw enough snow last winter to fix me for life. Hope you get another day off!
Ian
I had a lot of fun shovelling the driveway and the walkway to the toolshed. In some places, the natural snowdrifts were upto my waist.
Sometimes I would like a snow day like that to simply lounge, and read and watch movies. Showering is optional. Ha.
And it's about 60 degrees and sunny in Austin today.
ITH, yes I agree, I think my entire blog during the winter last year was me whinging about the snow.
WIGSF, fun? Was that sarcasm I hope.
2DP, unfortunately it was not to be, no snow day. Though I could not get out of my driveway this morning so I could have called in, but I commute on mondays with a co worker so she came to rescue me.
Well at least you might get a day off. Hope your house is well stocked with food.
Yuck! Although it is freezing in Paris right now (because houses aren't heated properly), I am SO glad I am missing awful Canadian winter for yet another year. Oh how I hate it so!
I miss snow :( and snow days. We once got snowed in and school got called for like 3 weeks when I was in middle school. Woo hoooo! It was awesome. haha
It looked a lot like that in Ottawa... it's never a good sign when you've got to shovel in levels. At least there's no doubt that we'll all have a white Christmas.
I drove from Belleville to Toronto in that weather and got stuck twice on my street!
Oh I know! It was freezing on Sunday... brrr... 62... I was shivering all day (sadly, I'm not being sarcastic. My blood must be super thin after living years in this Florida sun).
Ugh, snow... it is pretty to watch from inside your house while sipping a cup of hot cocoa ;)
OH my god that video is crazy. I totally don't miss the snow.
Wiwille, no such luck :(
TT lucky duck!
JLee, that would be a dream, snowed in for 3 weeks woo hoo.
Grace, welcome! I felt like I spent my entire day out there ha.
BB, yucky! You should have stayed in Bellville another night.
SS, 62 and you're cold...shameful!
Rawbean, what's the weather like down your way now?
