Ugh ohhhhhh that's the weather forecast for tomorrow! I'm a smart cookie and had *sigh* my snow tires put on last week so I'll be ready for the fluffy stuff shall it fall. I don't particularly enjoy winter what with the chill, slush and ice! It makes me want to hibernate for a few months, why just this morning I could not get out of bed as I was sooooooo warm and cozy. It was still dark out as it shall be from now on (daylight savings time this weekend) and my head rested on my pillow far past my alarm which is a rarity.

Rather than mourn the end of summer and fall, I shall try to look on the bright side and give thanks to the comforts that winter brings!

The leaves changing colour

I get it I get it, this is still a fall photo.......I have to ease myself into this you know!!!

Mmmmmmm hot chocolate with marshmallows! I tend to drink a lot of tea during the cold months but also enjoy a yummy sweet treat like this every once in a while! I also quite enjoy drinking out of horrendously over sized mugs mmm mmmm mmmmmmmmm!

I love love love sitting by a toasty fire! Inside, outside, wood burning or electric I love them all! Just last week I was sitting with a friend catching up, the room lit by nothing but the glow of a fire, it was heavenly!

I also love to slip into my comfies aka lulu sweats (they're like my uniform in the winter) and watch the snow fall out the window, I find it mesmerizing and strangely comforting. I do not have any desire to actually venture out into the snow and yet I can still appreciate its beauty.

I do plan to stay active this winter and would like to go skiing more often than I do ummm hello once in 15 years just doesn't cut it!!! I just bought a 20 class pass to a yoga studio and I swear to you all that I am giving that damn P90X an honest try!
Cheers to winter, bring it on!!!

I was startled the other day when I walked outside and needed to put on a sweater. But I don't mine too much. Like you said...hot chocolate, snow, snuggling...all great things.

This is going to be a mild winter, I believe. Don't let it get your down.

And some nice hot tea is the best part of winter. Especially with a slab of fudge. Right now, I'm gearing up for my annual winter trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake for tea and fudge.

Your picture of hot chocolate has reminded me that I can't believe that they've brought out the Christmas beverages at Starbucks already.

I love lounging in Lululemon stuff.

Lindsey, I'm not a fan of the cold at all but those things do make it much more tolerable!

WIGSF, mmmm fudge, where does the fudge come from?

Christielli, YES they have! I saw a woman with the red cup walk out the other day and though "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" egg nog latte!!!

I love the winter :) But I do feel like hibernating sometimes...thank heavens for sweatpants, hot tea and central heating!

the fudge comes from some fudge shop next door to Victoria Teas on Queen Street in Niagara-on-the-lake

This post makes me want hot chocolate with little marshmallows so badly! And I love lululemon even though they are made fun of out here as EVERY girl owns them (especially the Yaletown girls with their tiny dogs).

P90X and yoga are the best. If you stick to these two for 6 weeks you will be a new person.

Claire, I agree!!!

WIGSF, I'm not sure I've ever been in there. I know they have "tea time" at the Princess of Whales and for like $30 you can have a cup of tea and a few cookies...I haven't done that either.

Rawbean, do those girls wear them out in public? I try not to obviously....sweatpants in public = giving up to me LOL but sometimes I do!

Yrautca, now it's just getting me to do them! I"ve had the P90 DVD's for like a year....and I did try a few of the exercises once .... i'm not sure why i'm procrastinating.

My hubby did the P90X. Horrid! Good luck with that.

I am uber jealous of your winter. Just reached November and the high today is 81!!!! (Fahrenheit)

PP I'm not sure I'm going to try to LOVE it, like would be a more appropriate word LOL but go for it!!

Berly, rub it in Berly rub it in!!! Actually I haven't seen any snow yet and it was quite mild this weekend woot! Did hubby see results with the P90X?

He did see results. The hardest part for him was to eat the right foods to get the right fat/carb/protein ratio.
