New Years and Stepping out of the box

Alright so welcome 2006!!! I attended a house party for New Year's which was good times. We strolled into Jennifer's apartment around 5:30am and slept well past noon. At lunch the next day i was supposed to order something i had not tried before. See, my New Year's Resolution was to step outside the box, get out of my comfort zone and try new things. So i did just that, however the bar did not have the ingredients for my order and i went back to my old failsafe the veggie burger. However, i ordered Cajun fries which was new for me and i snuck off to call the fellow i met the week before which i consider stepping out of the box, for me anyway. I arrived back at the table to announce what i had done, see i could not have told my friends ahead of time as they would have taunted me and listened in had i called him at the apartment.

Jennifer and i also decided that we're fatsos and need to lose some chub. We've decided to have our own Biggest Loser contest. We measured each other and hopped on the scale to get ourselves started...i've been to the gym 3 days in a row now Jennifer :) Anyway, see for those that know us, i'm sure you've heard one of us call the other fatass or fatty or some other such name. Jennifer and i decided a few years back that these two guys on the Amazing Race were hilarious. They referred to one another in ways one would not normally talk to a friend. I recall an episode while one was repelling the other was trying to motivate him by yelling "swing you fat bastard, swing." So Jennifer and I decided to join in on the fun. Now i just received an email from Miss Jennifer saying we should start a two-way biggest loser blog to help movtivate ourselves and for you to all amuse yourselves with our struggles. Yup sounds like a great idea fatty let's get on that :)

LOL!!! See. As for your post...at least I have the guts to tell you about my exploits with the opposite sex....you have to hide them from us. You keep them secret, which makes me think that you do it on purpose....the forbidden fruit is always the sweetest. You hide these guys from us, and hold them over our head. You tell us you've met someone new, but refuse to tell us anything else....and when we ask questions, you refuse to answer them??? LOL!!! And you dont call THAT drama?

So we'd tease you...we tease one another about everything...how often do you tease me about being enveloped in drama??? All the time. But it's okay....remember what Jenny said when I met Micheal? that i'd end up chopped up in bits with my body parts encased in concrete at the bottom of a lake. LOL!!! God..i cant beleive that was over 2 years ago already! See...we jest, but it's all in good fun!

I certainly do not hide the guys from my friends. Jennifer and Preetom and Howard all met the last gent. You just need to be in the city to meet them :)

You know, whenever I hear things I said quoted back, I always go through this crisis of conscience, am I a bitch, was that over the top. Perhaps I need to have terrible insult clauses built into all my friendships like the one I have with Ashley.
Anyway, here's the link:

Ash and I will both be announcing our results for the week tonight, so stay tuned.

But you are a hot volleyball player, Ash. You know these days if a woman weighs 100lbs instead of 90 lbs she thinks she is fat. Anyway, I will always remember you as the hot volleyball player.

Yrautca thanks. At least you have no idea what i look like and can envision this hot sweaty beauty LOL I like that :) If you had msn i'd add ya

if she's set it up and invited you using what ever email you've got registered then it should be easy as pie to post, but she'll probably have to change your settings so that you can post...basically whoever sets on up becomes the administrator and can do everything with the blog, other members have to get the administrator to change their settings to allow them these things. but to get it to work through your first blog you need to have been invited through the email address you supplied to blogger

Hey PX, Ashley's set up and has been able to post, but she wants the blog to appear on her blogger profile. As the administrator, can I set it up so she can do that?

LOL. That's a good resolution. I wish my best friend lived here...she's in another state. I have no close girlfriends here to go do fun stuff like that with. Cathy and I have to do it via e-mai and phone calls. :0(

Alas Linny, Ash visits me often, but we're doing the contest long distance too.

I think it is hilarious that you gals call each other that! Usually people are too sensitive but I love a good round of name calling. Way to go!
