Safari Vests & Basketball

So i went to visit Jennifer this weekend. Friday evening i hung out with her bf while she volunteered, we watched girlie movies...oh and Lucky Number Sleven. I'm sure he was thrilled.

On Saturday Jennifer and I went to Okonomiyaki House for none other than Okonomiyaki of course!!! It's this delightful Japanese pan-fried batter cake that is made with flour, eggs, shredded cabbage and whatever else you would like to put in it.
Soooo Good!!! If the opportunity ever presents itself, I highly recommend you try it.

I ended up at a costume party that evening dressed in a Sari. There was an Indian couple there that were so in love with my outfit they offered their spare room to me for the evening. Really great people, i enjoyed talking to them.

Oh Dan if you're reading this i found the perfect outfit for the plane ride to Africa, i hope it won't embarass you too much....

Sunday evening was date #2 at the Raptors game. (Shockingly after taking the above photo he still wanted to hang out with me). I was able to get some really great seats for free, 5 rows up from the court great. They played Cleveland so hottie Lebron James was there * wipes her drool*

It was a really close game, Raptors won 91 to 90 and to top it off Mr. Samuel L Jackson was in the front row hanging out watching the game. He's the blurry figure in the red hat...unfortunately he was across the court and apparently my zoom sucks.

Here's a pic from their site

Wow, that cake sounds gross. But, I must say, you do enlighten me with all your interesting food selections.

And what's with Samuel L's hat? He is such a pimp.

Mother-fucking Okonomi yaki, before a mother-fucking Raptors game!

The Okonomi yaki was one of the best things I've eaten in a while. That picture doesn't do it justice. Ours came on a sizzling plate with this tasty Japanese sauce on it. I'd highly recommend that you try it if the opportunity comes your way. It's the specialty food of the Hiroshima area of Japan and Dan told me I should have some while I was there, but I was too bummed after visiting the A-bomb museum and memorial to do anything but go back to my Kyoto and sit in my hotel and watch movies.

You don't mention Scott in your blog. I was wondering if it was him and it was! I am fascinated to see how this turns out (no pressure).

SS i guess it's not really cake though, it's more like an omlette sort of. Seriously find some in Florida and eat it up....so good.

Scott you totally wanted to touch Lebron's booty!! I knew it!

Jennifer, i agree it's delightful.

PP thanks.

Rawbean fascinated eh LOL.

If you say she's got drugs in her ass, she gets the body cavity search and we get to avoid being seen with her. Win-win situation!

I can't say the food sounds, but it doesn't look half-bad.

And the safari outfit looks like something right out of Africa, which I suppose is obviously the point.

Very sharp.
