It has been an extremely busy weekend yet again and unfortunately there are no breaks in sight for this coming week. I am going to see the Killers baby, as well it's a special week at my work and we have events going on everyday until Saturday. As well I am attending a wedding this weekend and of course there is Mother's Day. I hope to enjoy the sun and beautiful weather one day soon, just take a day to myself and really really enjoy it.I will be starting this very intensive trainingl at the end of May and I must say i'm not looking forward to it ...... roleplaying will be a requirement ...... i'm not into roleplaying.....well, under the right circumstances I am, however not for work purposes :)
For Canadian fans of the Amazing Race, check out this website, Phil is seeking Canadian contestants for his new show.

I had a Falafel platter for dinner this evening (falafels, hummus, some type of mushroom salad) and I started to think about my favorite food......and realized it would be next to impossible to name just one. I'm in love with Japanese food (okonomiyaki, sushi), Thai food, Vietnamese food, Indian food, I don't discriminate....I love them all. Jennifer took me out for Ethiopian food a few years back, and guess what, I loved it!!!

What kinds of food are you ladies and gents into these days?? Any suggestions for this gal, something unique and tasty.....and of course veggie :)

I suggest some Canadain sausage with throat yogurt on the side (of your face).
Sorry that was rude, but I chuckled when I wrote it.
I am crazy for Japanese food (sushi especially) and I eat hummus almost daily! I crave it...In fact, I may eat some when I get home! ha
You always have so much going on that it makes me feel vaguely like a sloth, but I agree that work role-play is usually a horrible experience (except for the audience as it's often quite funny to watch).
Can't help you much on the veggie front as I don't feel particuarly qualified.
Every time I hear Falafel I think of Bill O'Reilly. I hate that.
Still I'm such a huge fan of sushi, but I never ate it off a half naked body. That's probably a good thing.
BB, Good Lord hahaha
JLee, hummus is the shit.
2DP, I'd rather tear my eyelashes off one by one than roleplay.
Wiwille, why do you think of Bill O'Reilly when you hear falafel? What's with sushi and naked bodies? A friend of mine said his gf did that for him and when looking for a photo of sushi a naked person covered in sushi popped up. Why sushi though, why not pizza or mushroom caps haha.
O'Reilly was slapped with a sexual harrasment lawsuit a while back in which he describe to the vicitm the use of that particular food as a marital aid. http://www.boingboing.net/2004/10/13/fox_news_producer_su.html
Just recently, I had dinner with a friend and she made something Japanese that I can't pronounce. We also had something called eda ma me or something like that. It was wicked good. I think it was the first time I had a meat-free dinner that I actually liked.
There is a small restaurant on the fringe of the city down under here called Moroccan Soup Bar. A few of us went back there last Friday. Absolutely fabulous – amazing things with chickpeas and dips and stuff – all 100% veggie!
A vegetarian Pho Noodle Soup at a vietnamese restaurant should do it. I love that stuff.
OMG...good food...great music. Awesomeness all about.

Wiwille, ewe!!
Michael, Edamame are soooo good, I love them. You should ask your friend what she made, and then send the recipe this way :)
Aussie Pom, yummm chickpeas are sooo good. You probably have some great recipes too, being a fellow veggie.
Yrautca, i've not tried the Pho noodle soups around here as the ones i've seen are always made with beef. I'll check a veggie restaurant and see if i can find some.
Natalia, snoopydance for good food and music :)
I think I've become an accidental vegetarian of sorts. I say accidental because I didn't intentionally give up meat but I did stop eating it nonetheless without even noticing. On Saturday I ate a cheeseburger and it made me sick and I realized it had been ages since I had consumed any meat. I guess I didn't even miss it.
OMG...i totally thought that was going to say that Phil was going to let Canadians try out for the Amazing Race.....
Now THAT would be something...
