Back to the Grind

I'm back to work this week but let's not talk about that, let's focus on the much needed time off that I had haha. In all seriousness it truly was much needed as I was starting to snap at my clients and my fuse that is generally short to begin with was non existent.

It was delightful to do nothing/anything that I wanted. Feel like watching Ellen or some morning talk show I never watch ... go ahead. Feel like watching LOST for hours and hours or reading in my jammies woo hoo! Want to go for a bike ride, or visit friends or swim ... Rock On!!! I don't recall the last time that I took vacation time and stayed home so this was a treat.

I also decided to pamper myself a bit and at the same time check off one of my goals, I went to the spa for a Hot Stone Massage. It was very relaxing and lovely but at the same time made me giggle just a bit. I'm generally a rather modest person but dear lord, this woman had the small towel so folded up it barely covered the crack in my ass... and massage it she did.

I've spent the past few days riding along the parkway and enjoying the weather. It's the one place I go when I want to relax or be alone. The whole area is quite lovely and rather quaint once you actually get into the town.

Unfortunately I'm a bike rack moron and had the bloody thing improperly situated on my car today. The paint on my spoiler chipped off due to a big metal bar rubbing against it....oops. Ah, but such is life.

How pretty!

Well, you're right, I never take time off work just to sit home and relax. Actually, I never take any time off to relax anywhere - my vacations are always pretty action packed. I'll have to change that.

It all looks very relaxing. I love time off, maybe because I never have any.

That sounds wonderful, although I usually skip the hot stones part. Too bad about your car :(

Sometimes relaxing at home and letting all the troubles in the world just float is away is needed.

I always thought the hot stone massage was a lazy way for a masseuse to make money becuase I can heat stones & lay them on people too.

Obviously, there's more to it & not just anyone can take a crack at it. Ha.

I've never had a hot stone massage. Maybe I'm selling myself short.

SS, seriously try to take vacation time and relax at home, it's refreshing.

Yrautca, you must get vacation time at your work.

Michael, haha it's true she did, but it's a very nice fancy shmancy place.

JLee, yeah and I left my sunroof open that same night and it poured grrrr.

WIGSF, true, granted now i'm back at work and getting irked slowly every moment more.

2DP, haha no no she actually had to use them to massage, it was very cool.

Wiwille, I had not either, give it a try, it's probably especially lovely in the winter.

So you're saying that it's ok for people to grope your ass as long as they throw a few hot rocks on your back? :P
