I've been noticing this one trainer at my gym lately, he's not super hot but I find him strangely attractive. He actually resembles Judd Nelson from The Breakfast Club. Anyway he looks fine in gym attire but the man has absolutely no fashion sense in the real world. I saw him saunter in one day wearing white pants, a white jacket and *cringe* a white fanny pack....seriously! I saw him again wearing white sweatpants, white fanny pack and a neon orange Oktoberfest hoodie jacket thing and moon boots. Oh my! I desperately wanted to take a photo.
When I was out on the weekend I saw this older gentleman dressed very well in a camel coloured suit, nice button down shirt, looked very sharp.....only problem and I kid you not, he looked like a neanderthal. He was hunched over with this perma stunned look on his face that never seemed to break. His friend had on an argyle shirt...I love argyle...these men were stylin.
Lastly, there was a photo of a lottery winner in the paper recently.....he had on green pants and a red jacket....his clothing was the first thing that I noticed. Someone pointed out that he was single *wink wink* and I said that that was obvious due to his attire! Before you think I'm a super bitch I must tell you that the reporter covering the story also made note of his clothing....so and so came to pick up his cheque wearing green pants and a red jacket.......
.....that made me laugh!!
Do you think it's possible to change a significant others attire/sense of style? I've never actually tried to do this....but for those of you that have....were you successful? I mean I can buy a guy who loves to wear Big Johnson Tshirts a button down....but I'd imagine the BJ Tshirts will still be in the closet taunting me.

Its funny that you mention this because I was telling the girls a story about a guy a dated in Winnipeg who would break out the rock star look every once in awhile.
One day he picked me up wearing brown or green (can't remember) tight-ish pants, a FUR jacket and a green toque. We were going to A&B sound and right before we went in I looked at him and said "I can't handle THIS"" using my hands to gesture towards his clothes. He changed his outfit, but it didn't last. He was crazy.
I totally feel like I've told this story on your blog comments before. Oh well!
And I always suck more at bowling the longer the games go on.
The funny thing with bowling is that everyone does well in their first round. I kid you not. And then its downhill.
As for fashion sense, I sometimes drop a hint or 2 when displeased with the fashion sense. Of course my own taste is immaculate.

I literally laughed at loud reading that.
And yes, I believe you can change someone's style
Rawbean, Ha!! I don't recall this story but you made me laugh out loud with the description of his outfit and your comment. I love it!!
Yrautca, I have a feeling it may have been the beverages :)
Niki, Glad you had a good laugh...so did I when I saw him...more of a mortified laugh....but a chuckle nonetheless.
My ex was succesful, although it took longer than she liked.
You can't change the way a man dresses. You can only hope he figures it out on his own.
A fanny pack?? Seriously? haha
I think you can change a person's look to some extent. Sometimes it's just a lack of awareness on their part, so a little education goes a long way. You've watched "What Not to Wear" right? lol
I am at a loss with my daughter though. She wears the same hoodie every day to school and sometimes breaks out the green and red together. ARG
Wiwille, yay that's good to know!!
WIGSF, perhaps throwing out all of the ugly tshirts and putting nice button downs in their place...
JLee, I know and a white fanny pack at that! I suppose it's much harder with a young girl....she'll wear whatever the heck she wants!
I remember the big johnson t-shirts, they used to always have then in the big and tall store. We actually have some stylish clothes in those stores now.
About that guy you saw, it is winter, he should not be wearing a light coloured suit. So not as stylish as you thought!
I'm sorry. I'm still giggling at the phrase "fannypack".
Because I'm immature like that.
Cxx
