Well I did it, I wore a new pair of shoes around the mall for 3 hours. It actually would have only been about 2 hours or so however I lost my bloody sunglasses and had to retrace every step that I made. Unfortunately they have yet to turn up. I wouldn't care so much except that they are prescription glasses which ticks me off. I'll have to call in a few days to see if they have been turned in. So not only am I pissed about that but now I have sore blistery feet to boot and it's raining. I'm not a happy camper.

I watched The Reader this weekend which was okay but not spectacular. I didn't realize the 1st half of the movie would be about Kate's nipples and found myself a tad bored in the earlier part of the movie. We get it, they're having sex......get on with the movie. This is probably why I have a long long list of movies that I would like to see however I never actually get around to watching. I already sat through Open Water and The Beach which killed 4 hours of my life. I'd rather do something I enjoy then sit and watch something that I might not.

I definitely ( I always try and spell it definately grrrr Websters should change the spelling to appease me) regret wasting time on shitty movies however I never turn them off which makes no sense. It's not like they're going to get any better. Are there any movies that you've wasted time on?? Do let me know so I can stear clear.

Any Ben Affleck movie is a waste of time. I have watched two very good ones: Cashback and Last Stop for Paul.

Worst movie ever: Artificial Intelligence.

I saw it in the theatre and 45 minutes before it ended (2 hours in) I was getting my jacket ready because I thought things were wrapping up - but NO they introduced new characters and went on and on. I remember turning around and looking at the audience to see if anyone else was like "WTF". Worst EVER.

I like this post. The part about you at the mall is funny even if you didn't mean it to be.

For the love of all that is holy and good don't bother with Alexander.

I thought Glengarry Glen Ross was so bad I stopped it half way through, rewound the tape and walked it back to Blockbuster.

If the movie says David Mamet at any point, avoid avoid AVOID!

I think you want to feel like you're getting your money's worth! lol That's a shame about "The Reader" since it was on my list. Maybe when I'm really really bored. ha

Yrautca, I will stear clear!

Rawbean, Ugh I saw AI as well and don't believe I got through the whole thing granted I was in someones house so I could walk away.

Wiwille, was Angelina in that one?? If so I saw it at the theatre...and I agree with your statement.

WIGSF, I can avoid David Mamet...I'm not even sure who he is.

JLee, it's not a horrible film by any means, just a long beginning.

Worst movie ever: Aviator with Leonardo DiCaprio. Yeah, I get it, the guy was bat shit crazy. I don't need more than three hours to figure that out.

Close second: Legends of the Fall.

Open Water and the Beach Miss Ash? You are seriously back-logged in your movie watching if you're just now getting to those. Ha.

And my list is too long to name her of wasted time, although I've cut down on those kinds considerably since I left college for some reason.
