I have had a ridiculously busy weekend and unfortunately it's not looking any more clear this week as I'll be out of town.....again.....for a few days.

The drive up north left something to be desired as we got stuck in traffic for hours. A 2.5 hour drive took us over 4 hours, it was a nightmare. We did however enjoy people watching while parked on the highway:

*There was this super old truck driver that enjoyed leering in the car any chance that he got. Another one with a big beaver on the side of his door which made us laugh like crazy.

*A couple in the back of a car full on making out. She was so close to him they looked like conjoined twins. I have no problem with people showing affection but they might has well have been having sex and there were two people in the front seat. Gross!!

*There were two men (who also looked strangely similar) kinda chubby with super long pointy beards. The passenger was passed out cold and it took all of my strength not to scream BOO or WAKE UP into the man's car for fun. I thought it would be hilarious however the driver looked as though he had no sense of humour whatsoever and might go ape shit if I woke his friend.

*A man in the car beside us was getting a nice back rub from his female passenger.......only he was wearing a tank top and had the hairiest back I have ever seen. It looked like she was petting him.

We FINALLY made it up there and spent most of our time drinking and playing horseballs with the crazy neighbours. My friend warned me that they were a bit much and liked to drink a lot I mean can't walk falling down drunk at 11am a lot. They didn't disappoint!! The one had an equally drunk friend up for a visit as well, both in their late 50's drinking rum and coke all day/night long. We went over later to play these silly games I've never heard of and it took all of my might not to spit my drink out all over them I was laughing so hard. Tears were streaming down my face as I got into a fit of giggles and couldn't stop myself. The friend kept repeating herself and slurring "it doesn't matter if you got a dime or two nickles, it doesn't matter." The whole table lost control over the course of the evening. I've never laughed so hard in my life!!

The most beautiful rainbow I have ever seen came out after it rained for a short period of time. It was a half circle and bright as can be. I'll post the photos when I get them from my friend, absolutely stunning, we just stared and stared until it disappeared. I was also impressed with the stars......that's the one thing I love about being away from the city, being able to see the millions of stars up in the sky.

I ended up with some very large bizzare bruises and a lip that looked as though I'd been sucking on a broken pen.....no idea what happened there as I've never bruised my lips before but I suppose there's a first for everything. Oh well, it was good times and I look forward to my next visit up there.
