Ugh ohhhhh I woke up this morning sneezing with a bit of a stuffy nose. You know how you can just tell when a cold is coming on and you want to do everything in your power to prevent it from happening but it's already too late! I searched and searched my cupboards for some Cold FX but to no avail. I haven't a clue if it would even work though some people say that it helps. I guess I'll have to go the old fashioned route......vitamin C and sleep!

I have a ridiculously busy week ahead including 4 birthday parties (side note... is it smart to eat cake AND go out for dinner 4 days in a row....probably not!) as well as a weekend getaway in the snow. I might not be able to fit into my gear if I eat cake at every party.....

I'm just hoping (you'll never EVER hear me say this again) that there is snow on the weekend. It's currently overcast and raining which isn't conducive to snow making weather however they appear to have all of their runs open today so weather be damned it might be a go.

Rawbean wrote a post recently and is thinking about posting more during the Olympics. I made a comment that I dislike the Olympics and could feel every eyeball on the internet glaring my way like "no she didn't" as everyone seems to LOVE them! I felt like Elaine in that Seinfeld episode where everyone loves the English Patient and she hates it!

I don't really believe in Cold FX. It never does anything when I take it. I prefer sleep to remedy everything. Too bad pesky employment gets in the way.

Hope it snows for you! And for me too. Snow is happier than rain, I think.

I've heard that the Olympics have basically closed off whole parts of Vancouver. Roads closed, getting around is next to impossible. And the whole no-snow is forced organizers to truck in snow for the events.

And I'm with you. The English Patient sucked!

Christielli, I've only used it once on the advice of someone else and don't recall if it worked or not.

WIGSF, see if I lived in Vancouver I'd have to leave for the month or however long they last, that would drive me bonkers!

Isn't it un-Candian (that's the first time I've ever used that term in my entire life) to not like the Winter Olympics?

First of all WIGSF comment is not true - at least not yet. But come the Olympics in the words of my boss "we're screwed."

Second, it's fun to be in an olympic city - so far at least...

Nice Elaine/English Patient reference. I'm not wild about the Olympics either, but like to have them on in the background while I do other things. Feel better Miss Ash as that is an almost inhuman amount of birthday parties to attend. Emergen C & Sleep . . .

Jlee, say it ain't soooo snow in your neck of the woods! I must admit i'm doing a little bit of a happy dance tee hee!!

Wiwille, it probably is but that's how I roll....and I wear white after labour day!

Rawbean, I suppose if I was in the eye of the storm so to speak I might actually get caught up in the hype!

2DP, I had to look up Emergen C as I'd never heard of it...I think i'll stick to my OJ LOL!

I liked the English Patient, I just don't like people who liked it too much, they're normally douches.
