Another busy weekend with gorgeous weather woot woot!
I was in an all day charity volleyball tournament again this past weekend. It was loads of fun but I got quite the burn and a few other injuries. How about some photos.......

This is the lovely burn I came home with! I actually wore sunscreen as I seem to be getting wiser in my old age AND I even remembered to reapply it. I suppose sitting in the sun for ohhhh 9 hours will burn you regardless.
This is my knee, I dove for the ball in our last game and sliced it open on I'm guessing a rock.....we played like 7 games and I had to go and hurt myself in the last 3 minutes of the tournament!
I bruise super easily and now have an entire forearm to prove it. They aren't showing up well in photos but trust me when I say my arm has 3 ginormous bruises and three lumps to go along with them. Ouch!
I also got an elbow to the head ... hard.... which gave me an instant stabbing pain in my noggin! Again, during the last game thankfully and not near the beginning of the games. It's still quite tender though awwww!

I look more like I was in an ultimate fighting match than a volleyball game Ha! I had a great time though and will be doing it all over again next month!

Rawbean, ha! My phone actually takes pretty good photos which is shocking. My old phone always left me a blurry mess.
Christielli, I know odd eh? I think I'll wear kneepads and swimming shoes next time :p

oh no!! You sound like me with your injuries. lol Looks like fun anyway :) I played some water volleyball over the weekend and I can hardly type my hands are so sore!
You are seriously hardcore. If there was a fight between you and WIGSF I'm putting my money on Miss Ash.
First, that FallingWater house shot a few posts down was awesome. I had never seen it before. Very cool.
But that sundburn looks more painful than your knee. Hopefully you're not peeling too badly at the moment, but at least you enjoyed the weather on the weekend. Nothing worse than lousy weather for weekends . . .

That is quite a burn for still wearing sunscreen. The hubs does that too.
Ooh fun! I am always thinking volley ball is so hard and you seem to enjoy it and are good at it.

As for the weather you're 100% right, I'd rather get a burn than be stuck inside cause of the rain.
Claire, I'm going to buy SPF 50 next time, I was using 30 which I thought was good enough....
Berly, ya I mean I didn't really get out of the sun allll day so applying once or twice is still silly. I should have sat in the shade for a while.
Yrautca, I don't think it's that hard though I do suppose it requires some type of skill and good reflexs'
