A few weeks later, I'm in a different city with my favorite bakery and one goal in mind. I'm determined to get the best brownies ever! I start to drive towards it when low and behold there's barricades all over the street! This time it was an old car show and a million people milling about. Parking thankfully was easy to come by AND the bakery had my favorite turtle brownies phew! I bought ohhhhh 9 of them (oink oink) and shared a few.....by a few I mean 3 (double oink)! No pictures sorry Berly :)
I also bought the cutest earrings as well (not at the bakery)! The crystals in the middle are from swarovski and they sparkle like crazy in the light, I just love them!

The one event that I am very much looking forward to is the Vegetarian Food Fair! We stumbled upon it last year (much like the above two events) and I was in total heaven! We were surrounded by amazing food, amazing people and it just had such a great vibe! I'm excited to go again this year and try new foods and restaurants and to meet some fun veggie folk! The other good thing about this fair is that it does not block any streets or inconvenience anyone! Awww those considerate veggies!!

I wanted to get Toronto "Best Burrito" the other day and the street was blocked off, nowhere to park!
I like summer, but there sure is a lot crap going on that requires roads being closed. It's super annoying!
Yesterday I went to see a movie with some friends and there were people dressed like zombies all over town! It was a zombie walk of course....sigh.
Jen and Mike were in that car show with their new wheels (if its the one that was tuesday night. LOL)
Love those new earrings!
I could see how road closures could be super annoying, but since I don't have a car, my reaction is usually "Yay! I can walk on the road! What fun!"
BB, that's sooo annoying! I hate when I just want to go and grab something and that happens.
Rawbean, you know I've heard we have those as well but I've never seen them. Can you imagine walking down the street and seeing that not knowing about the walk LOL!!
PP, no no LOL! It was a week ago!
Christielli, thanks! I was in Kensington once on a Sunday when the had a no car rule! It was a lot of fun being able to just walk around!
I dislike the earrings. Big dangly hoopy things, meh. Small earrings are much cuter.
I am thanking you and cursing you all at the same time for no sweets pictures. :)
Earrings - LOVE.
The Jazz Festival sounds really fun. I'm jealous.
WIGSF, I used to think that too and actually still have small hoops/studs in my other 4 piercings. But now for the lower two I'm into big dangly fun earrings!
Berly, you know I probably have a picture here somewhere LOL!!!
Wiwille, I actually ended up in Montreal once during their Jazz Festival as well, total fluke and never went down to listen. I'm kicking myself for that!
That sucks about your ankle Miss Ash as those are slow to heal once tendons get pulled out of place. Sorry. Good luck getting back to 100%. And nice one on all the concerts. I love when I get into a live music kick (saw Kings of Leon at ACL Fest last year).
Finally, they post festival/closures in the paper here all the time because there are so damn many in Austin and I watch them like crazy because you can get stuck in a mess of traffic/people otherwise.
2DP, that's a great idea! The problem is I sometimes go places on a whim and that's when I usually run into these roadblocks. I should clearly plan better!!
