Did anyone out there actually do Labour Dayish stuff?? You know like camping or going up north or sitting around a fire and drinking far too much while wearing sweatpants?? I did none of the above and spent a quiet weekend stuffing my face and watching movies. I borrowed quite a few from PP and LD and managed to get through:

Rosemary's Baby: I would like those 2 hours and 20 minutes back please, super lame and boring! I actually thought it was supposed to be a scary horror type of film so I was quite disappointed!

Hottub Time Machine: Ummm yeah so both of the above ladies built this one up WAY too much! I was expecting tears of joy and a sore tummy from laughing soooo hard. Instead I had a few giggles annnnnnnnd that was about it. Two thumbs down!

Derailed: I really wasn't expecting much out of this one as no offence but it has Jennifer Aniston in it. I'm used to her doing cutesy type roles and figured it would be kinda meh. Instead I was pleasantly surprised, the story was good and it kept me quite entertained throughout with the twists and turns! Who woulda thunk?

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay: This movie made me laugh and laugh! I was wondering if it would live up to the 1st one and for me it did!

I still have Across the Universe, 500 Days of Summer and a few others to get through! I rarely watch movies so it's quite surprising that I made it through 4 in two days!

As for this week there are no more concerts to speak of and oh yay (note the sarcasm) I start physio on my ankle at the end of this week! The Dr. twisted and turned it, this way and that! I wanted to cry it hurt so bad, I can only imagine what the actual physio will be like. I've never been before eek! Wish me luck!!

I'm so glad you didn't like Hot Tub Time Machine - I couldn't even get through that movie! It was so bad so bad....

I think you will like 500 Days of Summer. It was seriously like 2 weeks after I watched that movie that I was like "oh it's called Summer because the girl's name is Summer....oh!" Duh.

I saw Dinner for Schmucks this weekend. Here's a hint. The real schmuck was me, paying money to see that pile of crap.

I went to one cookout and a crazy road trip with my brother that I will have to post about. lol

I did like "Hot Tub" but would not have built it up to anyone. It is what it is..and I too, liked "Derailed" quite a bit and wish Aniston would do more stuff like that.

Sadly, the only movie of that bunch I've seen is Rosemary's Baby. And I think I was disappointed like you when I saw it back in grade 8 or whatever.

I'm very intrigued by Derailed! I'm going to try to remember that one for next time I rent a movie!

PP, yes you were right about that one!

Jlee, ya you know I didn't picture her in such a role and she did a great job. Can't wait to hear about your shenanigans!

Christielli, ha your grade 8 comment made me laugh! It is super old isn't it! Wait now I think i'm insulting you....but I don't mean to lol!

I went to the Kinmount Fair and camped out, had a fire, drank way too much, in sweatpants... the whole 9 yards!

I love 500 Days of Summer. I rushed out and bought it after I saw it.

I actually liked Rosemary's Baby. Sure it's dated and not really a horror film, but more of a suspense story, but then again I haven't seen it since college.
