I was perusing the net when I came across a status update "I'm enjoying a Shamrock Shake"!!!! WHOA!!!! I *heart* shamrock shakes and had nooooo idea they were back or around at all. This person lived in Florida....could the yummy shakes possibly be in my neck of the woods as well!?! Clearly it was a slow day at Miss Ash's place and I started to research aka google "shamrock shakes". Can you believe there is a website dedicated to shamrock shake sightings, I shit you not!
I laughed and laughed and of course looked and looked, mocking the people for writing on this site but loving them all at the same time. This not so good for you but oh so yummy green drink appears to have a cult following...who knew!
I desperately wanted one on Thursday but waited until my weigh in on Saturday to get one. I weighed in, went to a spin class and grabbed a shamrock shake on the way home!! Ah the perfect day!!!

This post made me laugh. :) I haven't had a shamrock shake in years... Have to say that I'm tempted by this post. I'm a big fan of the egg nog shake at Christmastime.

Yrautca, the small is 11 the large is a whopping 30!
Rawbean, no no, you see you get an extra 49 pts a week that they want you to use on anything that you want, I also spin 3-4 times a week, each spin class gives me an extra 10 activity points to use. I don't use them obviously but technically I could. So in reality I have an extra 89 pts to use each week....I figure 11 on a treat is okay!
I haven't heard the words shamrock shake in a very long time. The last time I had one was... I don't know, before high school maybe? I am quite interested in ordering one after reading this post, so thanks for that.
It's interesting you wrote about the fanatics for this particular shake. I believe McD's also has a lot of crazy McRib-ers (McRib-ites?)
The beloved Shamrock Shake. When I worked at McDonald's, my restaurant didn't carry it. I was disappointed very much.
you know.....after we talked about this - I went to mcdonalds on Ontario and got the smallest one the had - I havent had sugar in 3 weeks - I drank about an inch of that thing....I couldnt sleep until like 3am. LOL
It wasnt bad...but I wish I would have known it was minty...I wasnt even thinking about what flavor it was. Im not a fan of minty
