I am in an absolutely wretched mood and I have a busy week ahead. Very late nights followed by an out of town conference that I'm not too keen on attending. I'm just feeling defeated/melancholy as of late if that makes any sense at all. Little things are getting on my nerves....Somthings gotta give. So rather than bitch and whinge on here (cause nobody enjoys a complainer) I'm going to post a silly joke. It gave me a good chuckle when I first read it. Have a great week!
(The photos are of my favorite sculpture The Angel of Grief by William Wetmore Story. They best convey how I am feeling)

My Living Will

Last night my friend and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her
"I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug."

She got up, unplugged the TV and threw out my wine.

She's such a bitch.......

Its gonna be a long week all around. Make sure to stop a take a breath whenever you're beginning to feel overwhelmed.

And that's a good one. hehehe

I like that joke quite a bit. Ha. That's a good friend.

Good luck with the conference as those things depress the best of us.

JLee, it is a beautiful piece. I'm just in a cranky mood is all, no need to bring everyone else down with me this time haha.

Wiwille....ummm that was the friend in the joke...not my friend LOL.

I actually have a living will. You know how some folks don't want to be in a vegetative state and all that? I say, screw that. My sister has explicit instructions to guard that plug with her life, and if anyone tries to unplug it, she's allowed to use lethal force.

Here's how I figure it: I have a better chance of coming out of a vegetative state if I'm hooked up to machines in a hospital than if I'm six feet underground. :P

Michael, I need one telling them to pull the plug. I don't want to wake up out of some coma 30 years from now with no friends or a job or anything at all. No thanks.

BB, ummm no!

Ash - I SAW that when I got up....EVEN though they didnt care, when I talked to you if I gave it away. HOWEVER, I came through...and allie took home 6 apples too, so she gave me 2. One for me, and one for you....It'll be waiting on your dresser when you get home.
