Are you all familiar with the Simpsons episode where Sara Gilbert plays the neighbour Laura?? I'm sure many of you are. Anyway it reminds me every once in a while of my life.......probably a terrible analogy but whatever it's mine and I think of that episode often. Usually when someone of the opposite sex makes me feel like an asshole. Perhaps I'm being overly dramatic (most likely) but I get this vision of the person ripping out my heart and stomping on it (not like the episode where she mearly throws Bart's heart against the wall) but full on stomping!!! That's what I envision happening to me!!
My friends that read this will surely be saying WTF, who is she talking about, what's going on??? Believe me (belief) I'm fine, but for whatever reason anytime that anything goes even remotely awry.....that's what I picture and I can't help it!! Kinda funny, bit bizarre but seriously that's what I think of! Don't worry ladies and gents nothing like that his happening at the moment, just thought I'd share with you one of my oddities...is that a word ???? Miss Ash getting personal since 2009!!

Do you have any idea how much that episode rings true to my life? Do ya! I'm not just talking about that decade long crush I had on Sara Gilbert, (although that doesn't help) I'm talking about how that's what every woman I feel anything for does to me. She tears me heart, right outta my chest then kicks it across the room into a refuse bin.
And to make matters worse, I was gonna donate that organ.
LOL I love that episode, and I think it's hilarious that you think of that scene.
However, to emasculate whatever asshole rips out your heart, picture him wearing the same shoes that the Laura Gilbert character wears!!!

Ha. Since 09, eh? Yes, I recall this episode and it was a good one. As for the ripping and stomping of hearts, this is never fun whichever directions it flows, and unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to avoid it unless you want to take yoruself out of the game entirely, which seems far worse to me. Good luck with keeping yours off the floor.
I always think of the episode where Lisa breaks Ralphs heart on that tv show. aawwww
