Loving the Time off

So I hope that everyone had a good holiday. I'm not a big fan of Christmas myself, infact my sister commented that i was on TV...when i looked this was on

Glad the hustle and bustle is over, though i've had a fantastic time seeing all of my friends. That's what i enjoy about the holidays, everyone makes time for one another, people fly in from afar and good times ensue with lots of laughter!!

I've also rediscovered my love for Starbucks....groan Jennifer groan if you must but i do love it. I really enjoy the Green Tea Frappucino

and the pumpkin spice latte. It's like heaven in a cup.

I still have another 6 days off of work which is lovely. I imagine i will spend the remainder of time catching up on some reading (i bought a book at the Book Depot i've been wanting to read it for years and it was $3 so i couldn't resist "Black and Blue" by Anna Quindlen), spending more time with friends and just relaxing.

I'm also looking forward to a girls night out on the 30th. We're going to see Philip Gagnon an impressionist at the casino who apparently is amazing. Oh and i bought my ticket to go and visit Sly in England in February .... Life is Great!!!

I suppose that TV comment was a compliment seeing that the grinch looks so thin.

And you hooked me onto the green tea fraps big time but I havent had one in months. Such a huge sacrifice. I go to S'bucks daily but I only have coffee with non-fat milk. Only this week I allowed myself a Ginger bread latte and one eggnog latte. try the ginger bread latte, its beautiful.

Enjoy your time off and Frappucinos! I love those green tea ones, and so does my little girl! I'm partial to the vanilla lattes though ;)

I love the Green Tea Fraps too -- but I haven't had one in ages. Perhaps I will try a pumpkin spice latte the next time I'm at Starbucks though. There really isn't a Starbucks nearby, so I don't go much, but I heard they're planning to open a bagillion new locations in '07 so you never know.

Enjoy your time off!

Don’t think we have those Green Tea things down under yet – maybe they will make it here in 2007. England in February huh? Watch out for the drizzle !

Nice Grinch photo.. i watched it twice this year and it gets better every time.

Hope that you are having a blast.

Cheers,

Scott

Yrautca..you can always get them sans whipped cream.

PP, i know i'm excited. I didn't have nearly enough time there when i went ...shit it was 9 years ago.

Jlee, i love pretty much anything that Starbucks has to offer :)

SS, we have a million Tim Hortons and 2 Starbucks where i am. I suppose that's a good thing.

Aussie Pom, any places i should check out? I'll be staying in London.

Scott, it's such a cute movie, but i missed it this year, other than the tiny clip when she was making fun of me.

Natalia, you've got to have one...soooo good!!

I'll burn in hell for this, but I dig the evil starbucks, too. In my defense, I don't pay for it. One of my sisters works for them so I get it for free. :P

Enjoy the time off. :)

Oh, no Ash, it's perfectly fine with me if you drink all those calories.

I don't drink coffee, ever, and Ash once pressured me into tasting her pumpkin drink insisting that it was barely coffee at all. I tried it, and I assure you that it is coffee, my stomach was upset for the rest of the day. In fact, I'm grossed out just thinking about it.

yeah I got a $50 giftcard for Starbucks and my balance on that thing is $1.57 now. Whats that like 4 days? I need to buy some stock.

Glad to hear things are going so well over the holidays.

I do like the pumpkin latte, although it does get a little sweet.

Raise some hell on the 30th and have a good time.

I had to work this week! Boo! But it's over now and I can get back to three days of pissing around.

I like Starbucks too despite knowing it's not so hot for you and the wallet. Les boos.

I had bad luck with the Green Tea but I think it's because I'm an idiot and ordered it wrong. I'm a Starbucks virgin.

Yay for holiday time. And I *love* Starbucks with a sad sick passion - I really don't care what anyone says! I'm intrigued by the green tea latte though - I've never tried it...
