Claire made a lovely post the other day about simples pleasures and of course it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside so I thought I would post my simple pleasures as well!!
*My delightfully comfortable bed that I sink into every night and despise leaving every morning.
*Condensed milk in tea.....it's a treat and not an every day thing but ohhhhh sooooo good!
*Dry feet on a wet day
*Amazing friends who put a smile on my face every single day whether sharing laughs over a cup of tea or whooping it up on the dance floor I love each and every single one of them. I'm blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life.
*Finding a penny on the street and making a wish (and still having hope that maybe just maybe that wish will come true)
*Receiving a compliment from a stranger
*Getting butterflies.....
*My super warm slippers that look like boots! Not only are they very cute but they are sooooooo toasty as well!
*The smell of cookies baking

*My VERY comfortable lululemon get up, seriously I wish I could wear the pants and jacket every single day to work.
*A beautiful sunset....I took this photo while at a get together up north. Everyone else was drinking and chatting away and I left for a few minutes to sit quietly and take in this amazing view.
*Watching the little ones in my life grow and learn each and every day. To see the world through their eyes is so uplifting. The smallest of things brings a huge smile to their faces, they view the world with such awe! They remind me to stop and appreciate the small things ..... really really appreciate them!
What are your simple pleasures?

* Hearing a song on the radio that you've loved for years but never heard on the radio before.
* Garlic
Reeses Pieces
The cool side of the pillow.
Cool thunderstorms.
Hearing a song that reminds you of someone in your life.
Freshly brewed coffee.
A kid laughing at something dumb I did.
Great list and photo! I will have to try the condensed milk thing. That sounds delicious. I will have to ponder these because I'm not feeling any pleasure right now. ha
WIGSF, Mmmm garlic good one!
Wiwlle, you like your pillow to be cold??
Jlee, oh yes try it, just a spoonful it's delightful.
When I lived up in the Northwest one of mine was to walk in the light drizzle. I never owned an umbrella all the time I was there. Since I started going to all these wilderness areas, I have found that there are too many simple pleasures to make a comprehensive list.
Let me think...
*sunny days
*working photocopiers
*funny teenagers
*my cat
*good books
I'm big on trying to remember the small things myself since if you wait only for the big ones you tend to get anxious, unhappy, etc. Anyhow, great list except for the penny as I don't even pick those up anymore. Ha.
Mine would be good, strong coffee, sitting outside on a patio in the sunshine with friends and nothing else to do, a quiet night in when you get to do exactly what you want to do, a really fine holiday and whenever I'm near the beach.
* Sleeping in on Saturday after a long week of work
* First morning coffee (preferably a latte)
* My nephew's belly laugh and when he learn's a new word. His latest on Sunday was "whoah"
* When I walk down to the water near my apartment, the skyline of the city is breathtaking (literally)
Yrautca, that's an interesting one as I despise getting caught in the rain. I should try to embrace it!
Christielli, what about working computers!!! :)
2DP, I 100% agree with the sunshine/patio one...there's really nothing better!
Rawbean, you are soooo lucky to live where you do. That view would make anyones worries disappear if but for a moment, it is breathtaking.
