Okay okay I know I know I'm like the only person on the face of the earth who is not super into the Olympics even though they are *gasp* taking place in Canada......how unpatriotic of me! I'm actually NOT going anywhere this weekend and vow to watch at least one hour (or more) of the games this year. I am interested in getting a glimpse of these tight inappropriate outfits that some of the athletes are wearing. Apparently our snowboarders have tight tight pants and I've heard cries over some of the figure skating outfits, not to mention a package here or there.

I do quite enjoy skiing so if those events are not over I wouldn't mind checking out some moguls or jumping (though with my luck all that's left is curling *yawn*).

So I'll give them a chance....just this once....it will be like that time everyone was raving about the Star Trek series and I poo pooed it before I had watched an episode.....and then I watched an episode and still didn't get the appeal.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you may be up to, I plan to relax, read and watch EGAD the Olympics!

PS I did see a bit of this guys routine the other night while at a friends house......umm yeah......it was interesting to say the least.

Maybe you can hang out with WIGSF. I heard he doesn't like the Olympics either.

One thing I will say though - having the Olympics in the city I live in is exciting, but there is stress that I will miss out on stuff! I hate that. Although its fun, I do look forward to the days after its over.

Every once in a while Rawbean has a good idea.

But what's the deal with that flat chested chick in this post? Do you need to feel reassured that you've got a nice breasts?

I'm watching bits and bobs...but the time difference is making it tricky. I love ice skating, but not enough to get up at 3 am to watch it!

Yeah, Johnny Weir is a bit flamboyant to say the least. Ha. Not sure how you pull off that outfit . . . as for the Olympics in general, I don't really care but I kind of like to have them on the TV in the background while I do other things, then every once in awhile, I look up and maybe, maybe something interesting is happening. Have a great weekend Miss Ash.

Rawbean, I'd imagine the energy is crazy over there, lots to do and see so I get how that would be a lot of fun.

WIGSF, oh my, yes yes Mr. Weir is interesting to say the least. I had never even heard of him until the fox fur fiasco.

Claire, oh yeah, so not worth losing sleep over!

2DP, flamboyant is an understatement in this case....enjoy the weekend!

The great thing about the Winter Olympics is that everything is death defying and often involves people defying gravity too... except for in curling.

The Winter Olympics are the only time I'll even watch hockey.

Hope you catch something good!

I never watch the Olympics. No matter where it is.
Is that a bad thing?

Jlee, high five!!!

WIGSF, yuppers! He's rather flamboyant if you can't tell....

Christielli, does watching the athletes on Oprah count LOL?

Berly, no no I think it's perfectly okay to not watch them!
