I do quite enjoy skiing so if those events are not over I wouldn't mind checking out some moguls or jumping (though with my luck all that's left is curling *yawn*).
So I'll give them a chance....just this once....it will be like that time everyone was raving about the Star Trek series and I poo pooed it before I had watched an episode.....and then I watched an episode and still didn't get the appeal.
Enjoy your weekend whatever you may be up to, I plan to relax, read and watch EGAD the Olympics!
PS I did see a bit of this guys routine the other night while at a friends house......umm yeah......it was interesting to say the least.

Maybe you can hang out with WIGSF. I heard he doesn't like the Olympics either.
One thing I will say though - having the Olympics in the city I live in is exciting, but there is stress that I will miss out on stuff! I hate that. Although its fun, I do look forward to the days after its over.

Yeah, Johnny Weir is a bit flamboyant to say the least. Ha. Not sure how you pull off that outfit . . . as for the Olympics in general, I don't really care but I kind of like to have them on the TV in the background while I do other things, then every once in awhile, I look up and maybe, maybe something interesting is happening. The great thing about the Winter Olympics is that everything is death defying and often involves people defying gravity too... except for in curling.
The Winter Olympics are the only time I'll even watch hockey.
