Randomness......
*Why is it when people miss or almost miss their exit on a highway do they feel the need to either cut off anyone and everyone behind them in order to cross over 4 lanes to get to their exit or they just stop in the middle of the road until it's clear to go??? Also I saw a genius the other day and I wish I was kidding, drive into a very deep ditch to get to a missed exit. My jaw was literally on the floor, I've never in my life witnessed such a display! Whatever happened to just getting off at the next exit? Shocking concept it seems but that's what I do, I watch the one I'm supposed to take go by and I take the following one and turn around rather than cause mayhem and accidents behind me.
*I had purchased a few items in the States back in November and decided I wanted to return them if at all possible. I realized that like 3 months had passed and it may be wishful thinking and rather than waste my time going all the way over I figured I would call the stores to inquire about their return policies before I made the trek. I was dumbfounded when the Customer Service rep said "Hmmmm that's a good question" when I asked what the policy was at that particular store..."gee I"m not sure...." She didn't tell me to hold on and offer to find out, she just kept saying "hmmmm, I'm really not sure" Okay then! It's interesting because most stores around here have a very limited time frame in which to return an item anywhere from 8 days to 30 and yet both of these stores gave me my moolah back for 90 day old swag. Cha Ching!
*I watched very little of the Olympics...oops! I caught some figure skating and I saw clips of the folks who were on Oprah friday afternoon. I'll try better this week!

Haha re: return policies - it seems like stores are getting more and more relaxed about that shit. It's crazzzy.
Yea you need more Olympics. I'm already sad that it's half over!
Driving like a maniac after missing an exit, pretty sure that was my father. He does that lot. He once backed out of the 401 to avoid a truck weigh station.
Take another exit - it's easy. But not as easy as returning stuff. Yeah, 90 days isn't that uncommon as long as you've got the tags and haven't been wearing it all over the place.
I see that bullshit all the time, even when it's snowing! We are supposed to get some more here tomorrow. You can do your happy dance now ;)
I love that you're setting yourself Olympics homework!
Cxx
Watch the ice dancing tonight! We could get gold!
These silly Olympics had *me* watching a hockey game last night. I turn into a completely different person during these two weeks.
Rawbean, watch I'll probably start watching them and then LOVE the Olympics and be sad that they're over!
WIGSF, oh god! Why can't he just take the next exit?
2DP, see around here 30 days is GOOD, sometimes it's like a week or you get a store credit.
Jlee, yay!! We got hit with more today.....it sure is yucky out there a mix of freezing rain and snow boo!
Claire, yes Olympics homework a good way to put it!
Christielli, oh my okay, ice dancing....and i'm sure you understand why everyone is saying the only thing Canada can put in the net is Sydney Crosby...I don't get it as I wasn't watching..
You still watching Oprah girl? I thought we were like buddies or somethin'.
90 days is the norm in the states, but make sure you watch for the no signaling people who desire to put everyone at risk of life and limb rather than take the next exit.
Hey, first time over here with the new look, very sexy.
I rarely return anything, I feel bad about it. Anyway, I usually buy really cool stuff that doesn't need to be returned.
Yrautca, you just need to learn to like her :)
Wiwille, I love that about the states, long return policies and fatty food yum!
BB, why thank you! I often return things, perhaps I should make better decisions in the stores.
