Happy New Year!!

I've had an especially great week. I met a delightful behavioural psychologist for children on Friday evening ( I will call him in the New Year) and last night the girls and I had a great night on the town. We went to the casino to see Philp Gagnon. He's an impressionist and sang everyone from Barry White to Mick Jagger spot on. He was also extremely humourous and we were all laughing so hard our cheeks hurt.

We then went for martini's and beer (nice combo i know) to this cozy little bar. We had some more laughs....however the biggest one came at the end of the evening. This guy sits down beside me and starts asking what we are celebrating and what not. Turns out he went to our highschool, but he's older and does not recognize any of us. We however know exactly who he is (once he told me his name). You see in highschool this guy was like the hottest thing around, the Brad Pitt if you will, we all had grade 9 crushes on him. Turns out the years have not been so kind to him, he's now more like George Castanza. When i turned to the girls and introduced him "Hey ladies do you remember so and so" the jaws dropped, someone pointed and was like "you're so and so?" in disbelief. Shock and awe people, shock and awe.

So i will leave you with my New Year's Resolution for 2007.
2007 is the year of taking action. I often say that I am interested in doing something but never actually follow through. I haven't been skiing since i was 14 but every winter the words "i'd love to go skiing this year" leave my mouth....and i still have yet to go. I've been wanting to take a French course .....for years.......still have not. You get the idea, so my friends 2007 is the year of taking action, being a doer, not a talker. Happy New Year kittens!!!!!!!
P.S (we made the Christmas lightmare video, however it's 196 MB and youtube will only let me post 100 MB, does anyone know how to zip the video or to compact it?)

I am the opposite of that, so much better looking than High School!

Oh, I make that same skiing comment every year too! I haven't been since I was 12 though...

Anyway, I had this huge high school crush too and I ran into him a few years later and he was still cute. We spent the whole night at a party talking and we really hit it off but I never heard from him or saw him again. Months later I found out that he had been asking my friend Ed for my number for ages but Ed didn't give it to him. That bastard! I could have dated the Brad Pitt of Livonia, Michigan and instead I got nada. Yeah, this was ages ago but I am still pissed.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year, Ash.

Ok so how does the 'where did you go to highschool' question come up? Do you ask that of all men you meet?

When I was in high school, funny thing is that 2 girls had a crush on me, that I didnt fancy at all. Now when I look back I think both of them could have worked out.

BB, haha i am the opposite, so much better looking in highschool.

SS, I think we should both resolve to go skiing this year no matter what.

Jlee, Happy New Year to you too!!

Yrautca, he asked how i knew my friends and i replied from highschool. The highschool banter then ensued.

That is pretty funny about the guy in highschool. Was he a jerk back then? If he was nice then I kind of feel bad for him!

I want to ski too - let's see if we can do it!

Get out skiing yo! Of course, snow would help, but when it comes, get out there.

Fun stories.

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year as that sounds like a hell of a good time.

I can't help with the zip files, but I hope you find the answer and put it up.

As for the Pitt to Costanza transition I discovered a lot of that at my first reunion last year.

Rawbean, he was a bit of a ladies man in highschool. Apparently he still thinks he is?

Scott, i plan to get out there, i just need the snow. It's the 1st time i've ever wanted snow...but just for one day.

2DP, Well apparently my highshool is having a 50th reunion...i've only been out for 10 years, i'm not going just yet.

Slop, it's true, men have less wrinkles than woman.
