Alright i posted about this a long long time ago when i had like 3 readers. So i'm reposting with a few add ins to see what the consensus is this time around. I'm sure it will be the same LOL.
So there has been a lot of discussion lately between a few friends and myself regarding women and their sense of tidiness down there. I will admit that i have let the "carpeting" as Jennifer calls it, get a little untidy now and again. Unfortunately it is at the most inopportune times but i digress. Generally i like to keep in under control. Once i even went as far as to get one of those Brazilian/LA waxes....hmmmm you have no idea the level of pain that accompanied that experience. I think the woman doing it had finished like 2 strips when i tried to get up and say that was fine it was enough i didn't want anymore done to me....afterall why was i paying for the torture? Alas she finished the job and i felt much like i'd imagine a pornstar would feel with my little "landing strip" as they are called. I didn't want to go completely bare or else i'd feel like a 6 year old. It was an interesting albeit painful experience that involved a stranger near my genitals and popsicle sticks....Good times LOL. I also had to slather lotion all over my nether region while she stood and watched.
I told my friend the other day about my unfortunate disco bush story and she told me she has an appointment to get a brazilian. She sent me this in my email and said i should take their advice:

Now i know what Jennifer says "low pile carpeting means high traffic area" ....
What does everyone else think....neat and tidy is better or let it grow au natural? And what about the men? Should they go completely bare as well? Funny enough, most of the ones i've seen have been hairless....if we go by Jennifer's theory than i've shagged a bunch of slutty men :P

I prefer trimmed but not to the point of being porn-star-ish. I definitely am not the type to go get regular bikini waxes either! I'll be interested to see what the guys say.

I think neat & tidy is easily the way to go as the let is run wild look went out in the 70s and unlike other trends from that era, it should stay dead.
And I'm going to address the guy's issue next week as pubic hair must be on the mind during the holidays I suppose.
That being said, everyone should keep it trim.
I have to agree with PX. As ICP once said, "Some women wanna go and shave they cotton off, straight to the candy, I'm with it, I won't get lost." Actually they say the b-word, not women, but that's not nice.
I don't care whether or not a woman waxes or whatever, though I tend to prefer when a woman keeps it under control. It does make certain things go smoother.
What about guys, though? I'm always wondering if I should "groom", or if doing so would make me metro (which is totally not me).
Oh, I agree with whoever sent you that email. But I also agree with Rawbean...and with you about the 6 year old thing.
I think a nice place in the middle of those is a happy medium.

I pretty much agree with everyone else on this topic that we should ALL trim and keep it under wraps.
I once was riding home in a cab after a shameful evening and pulled a hair out of my mouth...the cab driver just looked at me. I just shrugged.
Yeah I think men still have an obligation to keep things under control down there.
And I definetly think a woman should. I prefer totally shaved..your email says it all.
And no, I don't feel like a 6 year old girl...I just think the landing strps look silly. And the guys I've been with love it.

Secretly, I've always wanted to groom, but wasn't sure if it would detract from my natural masculinity. It's good to now know that it's ok. :P
How funny that you should repost this. I was just talking this week with a gal pal of mine about waxing down there and for some reason this old post of yours came to mind -- and then a few days later you posted it again. Weird.
Anyway, I tidy up fine but I don't just shave it all off -- that's too naked for me. But, I dunno if it's just me, but I'm never quite satisfied with the closeness of my shave down there. I want it to be smoother. I've tried different brands of razors but I'm still not happy (yeah, okay, somehow this is turning into quite a personal comment on my part). Hence why I was discussing the waxing business with my friend. But, I've never done that and I am a little leery of it. Hmmm...
I don't go down on a hairy bush. I prefer completly shaved.

I pretty much agree with the general consensus, although you don't know pain until you have a laser beam burning your crotch.
I have shaved down there but now I just use scissors to mow the lawn. Skin contact is not very comfortable if the area is shaved off completely, although the equipment somehow looks larger. I do prefer that my partner keeps it clean – which doesn’t mean a close clean shave, only that it is well maintained.
I think we need diagrams miss ash. Like how shaved is shaved? Diagrams not photos Diagrams. Maybe slopmaster can sketch some up for you.
